At Saint Bonaventure I am an Algebra 2 and Trigonometry/Precalcucus Instructor. Also I have become one of the Robotics club mentors. In the first month of the 2016/2017 year the robotics team has more then doubled from the year prior. I have daily office hours in my classroom before and after school where students are free to come and get additional help on topics that they might be having in any classes including Math, Physics, Chemistry and Computer Science.
I have my bachelors degree in Applied Physics from CSUCI. Physics requires an extensive knowledge of math as well as computer science. Before working at Saint Bonaventure I have I have built up a great reputation in the Ventura County Community College campus of Oxnard College where I had been one of the most sought out tutors for Math Chemistry, Physics and Computer Science. While working at Oxnard College I also had worked on a number of STEM out reach positions such as the “Go Green” program that worked with high school students getting them started in the process of thinking like an engineer while also getting them to think about energy consumption with energy sources such as wind and solar. I also worked on a Math academy where I worked with recent High school graduates, and in a matter of weeks, strengthened there math skills in an attempt to make their first semester of college go by easier.
